Dear Baby Chicken?

Last night momma had a crazy dream! In my dream I was laying down and suddenly these three little bumps poked out of my belly and started chasing each other around. I thought that can't be the little bees it is way too early for that to be happening. So I went to the doctor to find out what was going on. Well I got to the dr and it was the same man from the hospital in May. Only he was a LOT shorter this time.

He laid me on a couch and it was surrounded by cameras. So I kept looking for the monitor to see what was going on in my tummy. Well then the doctor said, "All done." I got up and left. After I got home I kept thinking I should have asked him exactly how many bees were in there and why they were sticking out.

Suddenly a frozen chicken breast fell out of mommy's tummy. Those were NOT little bees after all!! Maybe I should have named this blog.. "Dear Baby Chicken!"

I am still super excited to see you on Tuesday. Be camera ready!!

Update on those out of control hormones!

Hello Little Bee,

Today the Dr. took Momma's blood... again. I do not mind one bit though! In fact I looked forward to it for the past two days and hardly slept. All I could do was hope and pray that the level would double! Guess what?? It did... and then some!

Momma's HCG level was 135 on Tuesday and today it was all the way up to 387. That is almost triple what it was. So momma hit the google search yet again. The doubling rate, how long it takes to double, is 31.59 hours. That is VERY quick compared to other momma's levels. I am so proud of you little bee.

Keep up that magnificent growing and momma and daddy will keep up the prayers!
We are ready for you, PLEASE say you are ready for us!!

Love you bee!

How many bees in mommas hive??

Dear Baby Bee(s?),

Momma needs to know: How many bees are in there? I'm thinking it's just you little bee, but all signs point to more than 1 little bee.

One reason Momma wonders about this is because she was on that medicine {Clomid} that increases the chances of having more than one little bee. The chance that there are two baby bees in there is about 10% because of the medicine momma was taking.

Another thing that has momma thinking is because Great Grandma Glory had 2 bees in her tummy. She had a little bee not quite ready 1 month, and two babies came the next month. Well last month the little bee was not ready so this is the same for momma.

The ultrasounds of mommy's ovaries also make her think twin bees are possible. Momma had homes (follicles) big enough for eggs in BOTH ovaries (18 and 21). AND she felt both sides releasing eggs (ovulating). Momma isn't a doctor but... we will see.

The final reason why momma thinks there may be more than 1 bee is because of her beta levels {Hormones}. Momma's beta at 12 dpo was 135. That is higher than 95% of women with 1 baby bee. It is actually higher than 80% of momma's with two bees in their tummy.

~*~OR~*~

Momma is just happy that her Beta is high no matter how many bees are in there. If there is just 1 of you then Momma knows you are here to stay with numbers like 135. Tomorrow the dr's are going to check momma's levels again. That should show us how many bees are in there.

  Love You Little Bee,

Finally... A BFP that has been CONFIRMED!

Dear Baby Bee,

Momma and Poppa have been praying for you to join our family for 13 whole months now! We have read everything we can read, talked to everyone we could talk to, and done every trick we could, and FINALLY momma got a Big Fat Positive that has actually been confirmed.

In October we had our first BFP but you weren't ready. We got another one in March and you still weren't quite ready. In April you said hello to us again, and then left us in May. While it was rough letting you go each time, we patiently waited for you to be ready to join us! Momma's Dr gave her a little medicine that helps her body get ready for you. Momma took it for 5 days and waited and waited. We prayed that you would be ready this time!!  On the 14th day momma went in and they looked at her ovaries. It seemed as though this wasnt the month you wanted to join us. Momma asked if she could come back in a few days just to see if you needed a little extra time. You did!! On the 18th day you were (21mm) READY!!!!

Here is where you were getting ready...
Right Ovary (13mm at CD14)

Left Ovary (10mm at CD14)

Friday afternoon (the 27th day) Momma got a feeling and took a digital test. It read pregnant and momma could NOT believe it. She sent a picture to daddy and waited to hear his excitement. When Daddy came home he finally looked at his phone and saw it!! We were sooooo excited.

Momma was still nervous so she took a second digital test on Saturday. STILL positive!! No way!! Monday Momma and Big Sister went to the base and they took momma's blood. Wouldn't you know... POSITIVE!!

Momma and Daddy keep telling Big Sister that you are in Momma's tummy. She doesn't believe us just yet. Maybe when you start making momma's tummy grow!

We love u little Bee! Can't wait to take a peek at you in 2 weeks!! Be ready for the photographer! ;)

P.S. As of today, momma's HCG level is 135 at (12dpo)!! Keep it up little bee.
